The Uchikawa River, which flourished as a stopover point for Kitamae boats, is a rare river that connects from sea to sea.
The river's banks are lined with houses, and fishing boats are moored along both banks of the river, creating a nostalgic, original Japanese scene. It is recommended to take a sightseeing boat to visit unique bridges or walk around the area.
[Toyama] Tonami Tulip Park
In spring, the Tonami Tulip Fair features three million tulips in bloom. The highlights include the 4-meter-high "Flower Valley," a corridor of tulips; the "Grand Flower Bed," a ground painting made of 210,000 tulips; and the "Floating Flower Bed," which floats on a pond.
[Toyama] Shogawa Water Memorial Park
The Shogawa Gorge is a beautiful cherry blossom viewing spot with its contrasting mountains, river, and cherry blossoms. The Shogawa Gorge Cherry Blossom Festival is held when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and the cherry blossoms are lit up at night.
