Nanto Toga Soba Festival

Annually in early February for three days on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Nanto Toga Soba Festival

For many years, when winter came in the Toga area, the locals would have a celebration with soba (buckwheat noodles) called "Gonbe," to welcome visitors, and to welcome home those returning from work far away. The area has since developed this tradition in one great festival. Visitors can now enjoy many local Toga specialities like local handmade soba, salt-grilled char, and skewered sweet mochi, as well as diverse performances including folk songs, yosakoi dance, and shows with singing.
