Doraemon-related spots in Takaoka City
Takaoka City is home to various Doraemon spots, in homage to Fujiko F. Fujio, creator of the Doraemon series who was born and raised here.

This gallery explores the origin of the comics created by Fujiko F. Fujio. Come discover the joy that exuberates from all of his works, and the original short movies and drawings unique to Takaoka in the special exhibition room.
(Doraemon Tram)
The Doraemon Tram runs on the Manyo Line between Takaoka and Imizu City. The interior and exterior of the tram are decorated with Doraemon-themed art.
(Doraemon Postbox)
A giant copper-made Doraemon postbox joyfully awaits at Takaoka Station. Postcards and letters placed in the postbox are stamped and delivered with a commemorative Doraemon postmark.

The Doraemon promenade in front of Wing Wing Takaoka boasts 12 copper-made character statues, while Takaoka’s Otogi-no-Mori Park houses a Doraemon sundial and a Doraemon-themed open-air playground, coming to life from the original work.
