NOTO

Notojima Aquarium

The Noto-jima Aquarium is home to some 500 species, and 40,000 animals, including the only whale shark on display on the Sea of Japan coast, and jellyfish that shine in colorful lights. The aquarium also has a number of events, including dolphin and sea lion shows and penguin walks, as well as feeding time for seals and sea otters, and expeditions behind the scenes at the aquarium. In 2018, it opened the "Noto Migration Corridor," a magical display of the swimming of migratory fish.

Pick up

Visitors can enjoy the "Blue World" and "Jellyfish Light Art" exhibitions in the Whaleshark Hall, where the whaleshark also swims.
