Recommended spot to feel the nature of spring in Hietsuno

Spring is a beautiful season where you can feel the new signs of nature.
The cherry blossoms go without saying, but you can also feel the beauty of nature in other things too.

Hepatica (buttercups) colony

The colony of the hepatica, which is the city flower of Wajima City, is in full bloom in spring. In particular, the entire Saruyama area is known as one of Japan's leading colonies, and every year in late March the hepatica festival is held.
* In 2021 it will be held on the 3rd and 4th of April

Uchikawa River

The Uchikawa River, which flourished as a stopover point for Kitamae boats, is a rare river that connects from sea to sea.
The river's banks are lined with houses, and fishing boats are moored along both banks of the river, creating a nostalgic, original Japanese scene. It is recommended to take a sightseeing boat to visit unique bridges or walk around the area.
