[Ishikawa] Yoko-ji Temple

Quasi-National Park Mt.Nijo

The view is good, and there is a sweeping panorama of the Tateyama mountain range, Toyama Bay, and Noto Peninsula, etc.

This is a group of temples laid out by Maeda Toshiie, the father of the Kaga Domain, to defend against attacks from inner Noto; currently there are 16 temples. In fall, it is one of the famous sites for autumn foliage in Nanao City, and the fallen colorful leaves that form a brocade on the promenade delight pedestrians., From the sightseeing boat, you can enjoy the colors of the leaves on the trees on both sides of the mountain.
