[Himi City] Jonichi-ji Temple's Great Ginkgo Tree
On the grounds of Jonichi-ji Temple, there is a towering giant ginkgo tree that is said to have been planted at the time of its construction.
It boasts the largest trunk circumference of a female plant in Japan, and is one of the 27 ginkgo trees designated as a national natural monument.
Hikiyama
There are three Hikiyama festivals: Ebie (on the autumnal equinox), Shinminato (October 1st), and Daimon (the day before National Sports Day).
The Shin-Minato Hikiyama Festival is a nationally-designated important intangible folk cultural property, with 13 floats, the largest number in the prefecture, parading through the town. See the gorgeous Hikiyama of Imizu.
[Noto] Okuma Kabuto Festival
The grand festival of Kumakabuto Arakashihiko Shrine, which is known for its huge banners that reach heights of 20-something meters. It is designated as an important intangible folk culture asset as the "Kuma Kabuto Hatsuka Festival's Banner Rite."
[Toyama] Tonami Yumenotaira Ski Resort
In autumn, the ski slopes are covered with a million cosmoses as they bloom. If you take the lift on Saturdays and Sundays, you will be able to enjoy the view of cosmoses and scattered houses below.

The Yellow Cosmos Festival is held every year during the ski resort's off-season. Gondolas are also in operation during the event, and you can enjoy a great view from the mountaintop.
