[Ishikawa] Mikohara Terraced Rice-fields
The Mikohara district of Hakui City is a mountainous community adjacent to Toyama Prefecture. It has the largest terraced rice-fields in Ishikawa prefecture, and stretched out in front of you is the beautiful scenery of the Satoyama, where terraced rice-fields and communities with traditional Japanese houses are interwoven. It is especially beautiful between June and September when rice planting has finished, and you can look down from the observation spots in the area at the Sea of Japan in the distance.
