Suzu Festival

In Suzu, at the edge of the Noto Peninsula, the hot summer is jam-packed with colorful festival activities! The festivities begin on the July 20th and 21st with the Iida-machi Toroyama Festival, and continues with the Horyu Tanabata Kiriko Festival on the first Saturday in August, the Sunatoribushi Festival Dance on August 13th, and Evening Taiko Drums and Dance on August 14th.

    Horyu Tanabata Kiriko Festival... Horyu-machi neighborhood and the Mitsuke coastline 3:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
    Sunatoribushi Festival Dance... Matsunagi-machi neighborhood and Matsunagi coastline 7:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
    Evening Taiko Drums and Dance... Takojima-machi neighborhood and Hachigasaki Waku Waku Dream Land 5:15 p.m. - 10:00 p.m."
