Seihakusai

This largest festival is held at Ootokonushi Shrine (San-o Shrine) during May, when the green leaves are beginning to appear. It is the largest festival in Noto district. Three festival floats 12 m high and weighing in at 20 tons–the largest in Japan–will be pulled through the narrow streets of the town. In this festival, visitors are also allowed to join in pulling the floats.
