Higashiyama Temple Area – Higashiyama Walking Course

When the town was developed in the 16th century, a number of temples were built and relocated in a small hillside to the eastern part of the town.
The promenade is also well maintained for easy acccess to the all temples. It is about four kilometers starting from Ryuunji Temple to Shiroyama Park as the end of the promenade.
