NOTO
Mitsuke-jima Island
Mitsuke-jima is a 28 meter tall rock formation that stands in the ocean close to the shore. Due to its resemblance to a battleship parked at harbor, it is also called "Battleship Island" (Gunkan-jima). The island is a symbol of Noto, and is also famous for its spectacular view of the sun rising out of the ocean.
