Gero hot spring winter fireworks
A long-running fireworks display that colors the winter of Gero hot spring. The fireworks launched in the clear winter air are out of this world.

Tarumi Waterfall
A waterfall that flows down from the mountains to the sea. When a strong mid-winter wind blows, the waterfall blows up towards the sky.
Amaharashi Coast
It is said that there are three places in the world where you can get a view of the mountains at an altitude of 3,000 m from the sea, and one of them is Amaharashi coast. When the cold is harsh from late autumn to winter, fog develops and a natural phenomenon called a steam storm occurs. On a clear morning, the collaboration between the steam storm that hangs over the surface of the sea and the rising sun from the Tateyama mountain range is truly spectacular.
Right next to it is the 'Roadside Station Amahari' that has a cafe and an observation deck, where you can have a luxurious time gazing at the world-class scenery.
Ainokura Gassho-Zukuri Village (Light-up)
Surrounded by mountains, the village is lined with 20 Gassho-zukuri. The Gassho-zukuri houses float in a world of silvery white, creating a fantastic sight.

Suganuma Gassho-Zukuri Village (Light-up)
Suganuma village, located on a slight river terrace of the Shogawa River running through the mountains, has nine Gassho-zukuri houses. In the winter, the lights are lit to create a magical atmosphere, enveloping visitors in gentle illumination.
Nanto Fukumitsu Snow Illumination Festival (Roadside Station Fukumitsu)
Dozens of giant paper balloons made of Japanese paper soar into the sky. After dark, the beautiful orange lights of the burners inside the balloons can be seen, and attract visitors.
