[Ishikawa] Ochigata
Ochigata, located in the central part of Hakui City, is a treasure trove of wild birds, of which many winter birds visit. Many visitors come to bird watch the winter messenger swan, which comes far from Siberia to pass the winter.

Daytime auction of red snow crabs
At the Shinminato Fishing Port, which is close to the fishing grounds, there are two auctions: one in the early morning and one at 1:00 pm. The 1:00 p.m. auction is called "Nadoki no Seri." During the red snow crab auction, you can watch crabs spread like a red carpet across the floor. (Reservations required)
Swans at Ishibata Pond
At peak times, nearly 50 swans swim gracefully across the water. You can get very close to the pond area and watch them flap their wings.
[Toyama] Shogawa Gorge
The snowy landscape of the tranquil Shogawa Gorge is like a beautiful ink painting. A sightseeing boat ride will allow you to enjoy the scenery from the surface of the lake.
