Santera Mairi(Three Temple Visit)

This traditional event has been held in Hida Furukawa for over 200 years. It revolves around the custom of making pilgrimages to the three temples of Enko-ji, Manshu-ji, and Honko-ji. With one thousand candles along the riverside, and snow sculptures in town alight with the flickering lantern flames, Hida Furukawa will be filled with a magical ambiance.
