[Noto] Notojima Koda Fire Festival

A religious festival at Iyahime Shrine in Kodamachi, Notojima where a huge pillar reaching a height of 30m and weighing as much as 10 tons is lit on fire. As the pillar burns, it is said that if it falls towards the mountains, there will be abundant harvest, and if it falls towards the ocean, there will be plenty of fish caught.

Fukumitsu Netsuokuri Tanabata Festival
