Here and there, you will notice the sounds of artisans making wood carvings as you start to walk down the streets of Inami. With its 8,000 residents, the town of Inami boasts the highest number of wood carving artisans in Japan, with more than 200. We offer guests exclusive access to workshops with an “apprenticeship” experience, to deepen connections with the locals.
